BRAVE IS BEAUTIFUL CIRCLE
Are you ready to FIND YOUR BRAVE?
Are you ready to free yourself from the prison of approval and perfectionism and start living the fun, creative, authentic life you deserve?
If you’ve made it this far, you probably know you aren’t living the life you want and you’re ready for more.
You’re tired of living under the expectations of those around you and you’re ready to find out what life would look like if you followed your heart.
Feeling a little scared? Good. That’s a sign you’re on the right path.
When we get to the edge of our comfort zone, we feel a bit of fear. That fear lets you know you’re about to grow. And growing means you’re alive.
What would your life look like if you stopped saying yes when you really want to say no?
We are so good at taking care of everyone else, meeting their needs, making sure they have everything they want, trying our best to make them happy.
But when it comes to us, we leave ourselves just the crumbs, if anything at all. We leave no time or energy for us.
And how does this happen?
How is there nothing left for us in our own life?
We say yes when we want to say no.
We say yes when we don’t really have the time.
We say yes when we don’t really feel like it.
We say yes when there are other things we’d rather be doing.
We say yes when we’re tired.
We say yes, we say yes, we say yes.
And every time we say yes, we lose a little piece of ourselves. A little piece of our authenticity. Our voice. Our spirit. Our life.
It doesn’t have to be like this.
You can learn to say no. You can learn to find your voice. You can learn to stand up for yourself, for your heart, for your life.
And in the Brave Is Beautiful Circle, I want to teach you how to do just that.
I want to help you find your no.
So you can take back your life and start living the life you want.
When was the last time you did something really wonderful for yourself?
If you’re like most of the women I work with, you might not even remember.
Great self-care is the foundation of a good life.
We’ve all heard the saying, we have to fill our cup first if we want to fill someone else’s. And as much as we may wish it wasn’t true, it is.
In the Brave Is Beautiful Circle, you and I will look at your self-care together, how you take care of your mind and your body.
We’ll figure out what’s working and what’s not. Then we’ll figure out fun and feasible ways to optimize your self-care so you have the most energy possible.
Next we’ll look at your schedule so you have the most time possible.
We’ll look for time and energy drains in your life, those places where you might be saying yes when you’d really rather be saying no. We’ll explore the reasons why we say yes when we want to say no, the beliefs that keep us trapped, so you can break that pattern and start taking your life back one no at a time.
Finding your no takes time and practice, but the rewards are limitless and for the rest of your life. In the Brave Is Beautiful Circle, you will have my support and the support of other women just like you, all helping each other find their brave.
What would your life look like if you weren’t afraid to fail?
Perfectionism. The plight of the successful woman.
We figure out we’re good at something and we get trapped by that success. We become afraid to try anything else we don’t think we’ll be good at, even before we’ve tried it!
It does to me, too.
For me, perfectionism was getting “A”s. I chased them through high school, college, medical school, internship, residency, and all the way to a fellowship in ICU medicine at Cleveland Clinic where I was awarded Best Fellow. All the while scared to death I was going to make a “B.”
A “B” meant failure to me. And failure meant I was no good. And no good meant no one would want me. And no one would want me was my biggest fear in the whole world. What a mental trap I was in!
After years of self-work, I broke free from perfectionism. And you know what was on the other side? Fun. A lot of fun.
I found art (that’s me in my studio), music, triathlons, writing poetry, cooking, baking, gardening, the list goes on and on.
In my authenticity, I found my creativity.
And I found something else that no amount of approval or achievement was ever going to give me.
I found freedom.
Freedom to be me. Freedom to live from my heart, doing the things I love, with the people I love, where I love. Freedom to take a leap of faith and leave a lucrative career because it wasn’t right for me. Freedom to follow my heart and build a life I deeply love.
In the Brave Is Beautiful Circle, I want to help you connect with your authenticity and see what’s on the other side. See what passions are asking to be explored. See what fun is waiting to be had. See what life looks like when you live from the truth of your heart.
When was the last time you had fun?
Real fun. Not well, that was sort of fun, or that wasn’t work so it counts as fun. Real laugh out loud, living out loud fun. The kind that makes you smile all the way to your toes, fills your soul, makes you glad to be alive.
You know what I believe?
I believe that we can live that way not just some of the time, not just when we get a vacation or have an unexpected day off, but a lot of the time. And maybe even all the time.
When we know who we are, what we care about, what we love to do and we have learned how to use our no, something happens.
We start living the life we truly want.
This shift doesn’t happen overnight.
It takes work. It takes practice. It takes support.
And I want to give you that support in the Brave Is Beautiful Circle.
And you won’t just have my support. You’ll have the support of women just like you, fellow travelers who have been living someone’s else’s life for far too long, and are ready to find their brave.
So how does this work?
Transformation takes time.
The Brave Is Beautiful Circle gives you that time.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many coaching sessions do I get?
The Brave Is Beautiful Circle is designed as a comprehensive, live coaching program. There are many opportunities for both private and group coaching each month.
The initial coaching session is a 1:1 Life Review Session. This is the opportunity to take a look at your whole life and see how fulfilled you are in each area. This gives us a roadmap for what to work on in the coming months.
After the Life Review Session, you can schedule a private coaching session quarter for additional support that matches your unique needs. We can talk about specific areas of your life you are having particular challenges in and come up with ways to help you navigate those. I also hold office hours each week to address anything that comes up for you.
The group coaching is extensive and is the foundation of the Brave Is Beautiful Circle. This is where we build community and help each other connect with our authenticity and creativity.
There are many opportunities for group coaching each month with many types of sessions that take place on different days and at different times. The program is designed this way to take into account the fact that we all have varying schedules. Group sessions on different days and at differing times gives everyone the chance to share in group coaching sessions each month.
When can I start?
Personal growth happens best when we feel safe. To achieve this, Brave Is Beautiful Circle is a cohort-based program meaning you start the program with others who joined at the same time as you and you all do the program together. This is the chosen method to foster trust and connection within the group.
As cohorts overlap, there will be intersection in the group coaching sessions. This cross-pollination is wonderful for inspiration and encouragement.
How did you get into coaching?
Before becoming a life coach, I was an anesthesiologist and ICU medicine physician. During those years, I came to understand that I was happiest when I was living my true life and helping others live theirs.
I left clinical medicine in 2014 and obtained my life coach training and certification. I’ve had a private coaching practice since. In addition to 1:1 sessions, I lead workshops and retreats. I also teach high school and university-level students courses in self-discovery. One of these courses is based on my book, Journey to You: A 12-week Course in Self-Discovery.
